This byrd folder has a hawkbill-shaped blade which was originally rooted in the commercial fishing industry. Full serrations across the blade’s length measurably increase its cutting capacity for separating webbing, cardboard and coarse or fibrous material. The hollow-ground blade features jimping at both spine and choil. It has a lightweight FRN handle, screw together construction, and a lanyard hole as well as 4-way clip options. Blade length: 2.9 in. Overall length: 6.8 in. Weight: 2.6 oz.
